Red Jacket Resorts Red Jacket Resorts is a family-owned company with deep roots in the Cape Cod and North Conway areas. Many employees at our New England hotels volunteer within the community, and company contributions are made annually to support youth and social services, conservation trusts, and cultural associations. Our parent company, The Davenport Companies, has a long-standing tradition of providing scholarships to students in both the Cape Cod and North Conway communities. Red Jacket Resorts began in 1965, when Davenport Realty Trust of South Yarmouth, Mass., built Blue Rock Golf Resort next to Blue Rock Golf Course in South Yarmouth. In the late 1960s, the company built its first New England beach hotel, Red Jacket Beach Resort. Construction of the Red Jacket Mountain View in North Conway, NH, followed shortly thereafter. Green Harbor Resort in Yarmouth was purchased and expanded in 1972. Red Jacket Resorts grew to include the neighboring Blue Water and Riviera Beach resorts in 1973 and 1974, and North Conway's Fox Ridge Resort joined the family in 1979.
