At Grand Dynamics, we believe in the potential
of people. Our range of assessment tools provides us the ability
to help you learn more about yourself, in a variety of methods.
Assessment tools give you a new set of words and descriptions,
which allow you to deepen your self-awareness and then manage
yourself more effectively. When tools are used in team settings,
the new set of vocabulary comes in very handy. It allows you to
communicate with teammates more specifically, from a shared viewpoint,
and as a result, you learn to work more effectively together and
enjoy the time you spend together.
Getting assessed is fun and easy. You'll learn more about yourself
than you've ever known. You'll learn about your strengths, as
well as your weaknesses, and which competencies you should improve
in order to be successful.

The
BarOn EQ-i measures one's ability to deal with daily environmental
demands and pressures, and helps predict one's success in both
professional and personal pursuits. The feedback can help you
determine what you need to work on to increase your success
and happiness at work and in the rest of your life. Based on
19 years of research by Dr. Reuven Bar-On and tested on over
85,000 individuals worldwide, BarOn EQ-i is the premier scientific
measure of emotional intelligence.
BarOn EQ-i is a great tool for self-growth and as an adjunct
to the coaching process. It can also be used to assist in employee
development programs and to aid in the hiring decisions. Research
indicates that there is a strong correlation between emotional
intelligence and job performance, making BarOn EQ-i the ideal
screening tool to aid in selecting potentially successful employees.
You can even make a profile of the top performers in your organization
to determine what skills are the most valuable to your company
in general and/or for a particular job function.

The most widely used personality inventory in the world, the
MBTI® instrument provides an accurate picture of a person’s
personality type. The MBTI® instrument determines preferences
on four dichotomies:
• Extraversion–Introversion: describes where people
prefer to focus their attention and get their energy—from
the outer world of people and activity or their inner world
of ideas and experiences
• Sensing–Intuition: describes how people prefer
to take in information—focused on what is real and actual
or on patterns and meanings in data
• Thinking–Feeling: describes how people prefer
to make decisions—based on logical analysis or guided
by concern for their impact on others
• Judging–Perceiving: describes how people prefer
to deal with the outer world—in a planned orderly way,
or in a flexible spontaneous way
Combinations of these preferences result in 16 distinct personality
types. Understanding characteristics unique to each personality
type, provides insight on how they influence an individual’s
way of communicating and interacting with others.

In 15 minutes, the FIRO-B® instrument assesses your interpersonal
needs and the impact of that individual’s behavior in
the workplace. Three needs are measured in two dimensions: “expressed”
behavior (how much we initiate behavior) and "wanted"
behavior (how much we prefer others to initiate behavior). The
FIRO-B® reports enable you to manage behavior, recognize
stagnation and conflict and to find possible solutions, and
increase productivity through awareness of interpersonal dynamics
at work. This is an excellent tool for team members in a number
of areas: managing behavior and its results; recognition of
sources of and solutions to stagnation in communication and
conflict; acknowledgment of unique contributions of the individual,
which leads to greater appreciation.

Strength Deployment Inventory
(SDI)
These
assessments are conducted face-to-face in training sessions
.
The Strength Deployment Inventory (SDI) is the cornerstone
tool of Relationship Awareness Theory. The SDI is a self-scoring
motivational assessment tool. It measures an individual's Motivational
Value System both when things are going well and when the person
faces conflict or opposition. Whereas many other tools measure
behavior, the SDI goes beyond behavior into the motivations
and values that underlie those behaviors. The applications of
the SDI are many, including building awareness of self and others,
leadership development, team building, conflict management,
and dispute resolution and mediation, to name a few.

Reversal
Theory is a distinctive theory of personality, motivation and
emotion that focuses on the way people change during the course
of everyday life. Researched at over 30 Universities worldwide,
it has been employed in many different fields of human activity
including sport, health, market research and performance at
work.
The key insight is the idea that our experience is shaped by
a set of alternative ways of seeing the world. According to
this theory, people are driven by eight core motivational states
- organized into four pairs of opposite states – and are
constantly moving through a dynamic pattern of reversal within
each pair. Psychological health and peak creativity is achieved
when people are able to experience all eight states for roughly
equal amounts of time.
Coaching Services
Coaching is the tool. Enhanced individual development and organizational
performance are the results.
Coaching is tailored one-on-one assessment, feedback and training
that provides individuals with the support and challenge they
need to enhance performance and increase effectiveness. Coaching
can address complex multi-situational behavioral changes as
well as focused situation-specific behavior change.
Leaders, executives and managers and employees alike can benefit
from long or short term coaching targeting a number of common
arenas: thinking strategically, leading teams, communicating,
managing conflict, empowering others, integrating business decisions
with people decisions, managing stress, and navigating life
and career changes.
Professionals who typically benefit from coaching services
include individuals who:
• Have high level responsibility for managing organizational
change and need consultation for their agenda;
• Have or will have new and broader assignments or responsibilities,
and need a broader set of skills; and
• Require targeted training in specific skill areas such
as presenting, communicating, team building or facilitating
meetings.
Coaching requires a collaborative relationship, with the participation
of both the individual and the consultant. Our coaching services

in organizational settings and expertise working with individuals
to develop the knowledge, attitudes and skills for success.
