Whose team
is it anyway?
Chicago’s Second City, Saturday Night Live, and more recently,
the popular “Whose Line is it Anyway?” create hilarious
characters, and sketches from what seems like nothing.
How do they do it? No scripts, no plans. With little more than
a suggestion from the audience, the performers step bravely into
the unknown.
Is it really that different from stepping into a sales meeting,
or developing a new product or campaign? Despite our best efforts
to plan ahead, life is not scripted.
Despite the laughs, Improv is not about being funny. It is about
facing the unknown and the undefined. It is not about the individual.
It is about the team. About listening with the intent to support.
About creating a status-less atmosphere where individuals let
go of preconceived outcomes and create the future together.
Improvisational Dynamic workshops begin with
the concept of “Yes and” to give participants skills
and techniques to navigate the world of the unknown creatively
and collaboratively.
Our team of seasoned actors and performers create a safe and
supportive environment to empower risk taking and engagement.
Through a series of games, exercises and discussions, particpants
will improve communication and listening skills, tap creativity,
and build self confidence and teamwork.
Oh yeah, you might even have a laugh or two!
The Improvisational Dynamic can be delivered in a workshop format
or a fun evening social event.
