Emotional Intelligence - The BarOn EQ-i

The BarOn EQ-i measures one's ability to deal with daily environmental demands and pressures, and helps predict one's success in both professional and personal pursuits. The feedback can help you determine what you need to work on in order to increase your success and happiness at work and in the rest of your life. Based on nineteen years of research by Dr. Reuven Bar-On and tested on over 85,000 individuals worldwide, BarOn EQ-i is the premier scientific measure of emotional intelligence.

BarOn EQ-i is a great tool for self-growth and as an adjunct to the coaching process. It can also be used to assist in employee development programs and to aid in the hiring decisions. Research indicates that there is a strong correlation between emotional intelligence and job performance, making BarOn EQ-i the ideal screening tool to aid in selecting potentially successful employees. You can even make a profile of the top performers in your organization to determine what skills are the most valuable to your company in general and/or for a particular job function.

More about the EQ-I

Based on seventeen years of research by Dr. Reuven Bar-On and tested on over 33,000 individuals worldwide, the BarOn Emotional Quotient Inventory (EQ-i™) is the first scientifically developed and validated measure of emotional intelligence. Emotional intelligence reflects one’s ability to deal with daily environment challenges and helps predict one’s success in life, including professional and personal pursuits. A growing body of research suggests that emotional intelligence, measured by Emotional Quotient (EQ), is a better predictor of “success” than the more traditional measures of cognitive intelligence (IQ).
