Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI)

At Grand Dynamics, we love the Myers-Briggs.  It is the most widely used personality inventory in the world for a reason. It really works to provide insight and understanding of yourself and tghose around you in a way that is easy to understand and in a way that sticks with you for the rest of your life.  Once you go through an MBTI workshop, you will think and act differently because of the knowledge and awareness you have built.

The MBTI assessment provides an accurate picture of your personality type, based upon four factors:

Extraversion–Introversion: describes where people prefer to focus their attention and get their energy—from the outer world of people and activity or their inner world of ideas and experiences

Sensing–Intuition: describes how people prefer to take in information—focused on what is real and actual or on patterns and meanings in data

Thinking–Feeling: describes how people prefer to make decisions—based on logical analysis or guided by concern for their impact on others

Judging–Perceiving: describes how people prefer to deal with the outer world—in a planned orderly way, or in a flexible spontaneous way

Combinations of these preferences result in 16 distinct personality types. The assessment produces a report that explains characteristics unique to each personality type and provides insight on how they influence an individual’s way of communicating and interacting with others.  The assessment is phenomenal when you pair it up with a full-day or multi-day workshop with your team. Everyone typically explodes with enthusiasm as they learn things about themselves that they have inutitively known for years but lacked the vocabularly to put it into simple terms.  ZYou will gain new-found understanding and respect for those with whom you work and play. The result will be increased communication and respect for one another and ultimately stronger and more consistent ability to worjk and perform together.

If you would like to find out more about integrating an MBTI assessment into one of your team's next team-building sessions, please contact Grand Dynamics and ask about tthe MBTI or the Myers-Briggs.
